Family from my side had a wedding reception in Missoula on Greg's birthday. Kylen couldn't go, because he had a couple performances that day. So we decided to splurge and rent a sport's car. We figured it was the perfect time for multiple reasons. Kylen wouldn't need to be cramped in the backseat, we'd actually spend a significant amount of time in the car - three hours each way, the weather was beautiful, and it would make Greg's day more special. Turns out, it was a good decision!
There aren't a lot of options here for sport's car rentals. After shopping around, Greg discovered a place near the airport that had a few. Unfortunately, after promising us a specific mustang convertible, Greg drove over to discover they gave it to someone else. Instead, we got a Dodge Challenger, which wasn't a bad option. We were just a little disappointed after setting our hearts on a mustang.
A yellow triangle on the side mirror lit up to warn us whenever a car came close on that side.
Based on online reviews, we decided to stopover for lunch at The Fainting Goat in Wallace. The food was fresh, homemade, and surprisingly high quality for a small town.
The best part was having a long, relaxing meal outside on a beautiful day! This was our view looking towards the street.
Interesting sink in the bathroom.
I wouldn't call the food "amazing", but I'd definitely eat there again!
The reception was held on the grounds of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. We got a few pictures of the train as we were leaving.
And then stopped by this coffee shop for drinks. They were delicious!
