Potatoes, potatoes!
O’ how I do love them!
The most perfect food
In all of creation!
So versatile, they:
Grate, dice, chop or slice!
With butter and salt
More tasty than rice!
Naught else can compare!
Bake, boil, fry, or grill.
I’ve tried many ways;
All make a fine meal!
So eat them tonight!
And eat them tomorrow!
Just one little bite
Will ease all your sorrow!
We grew potatoes, my favorite food, for the first time this summer. I was EXTREMELY excited when we harvested some last week! You can also see a couple of our onions. Potatoes and fried onions…mmmmm….and a little bacon…with butter and salt….I need to go eat!

Good post, Farrah! I agree, I love potatoes and growing your own is the best of all. Thank you for the comment on my post - you said some things I was glad to hear, and you've got me wondering: what would life have been like if we'd never fallen? More harmonious, and as you say, there may have been major differences in human relationships. Just for one thing, you would never see exploitation and domineering in male-female relationships. When it's approached in the right spirit, the two still complement each other, as you say. Please keep in touch. Every time I post I'm glad to get comments. Blessings. I'll remember you and your family in prayer.
I love potatoes. You did a great job with those, they look beautiful.
Plus, you add to add the bit about onions and bacon. Now you know I am going to have to make this dish, right?
Pam
That is so exciting! I'll bet they are delicious!

Growing potatoes is fun, isn't it? I think I've only done it once (since I've been married) but I remember how it exciting it was to discover the crop of potatoes hiding in the dirt!
Karla, it was fun seeing Greg find them until he hit a rotton one. I will spare you the details, but I sincerely hope that memory will be gone soon.
