We celebrated in our usual way of reading the resurrection story just before an egg hunt (a few days ago). Then on Easter, we always decorate eggs and have Greg's parents over to share a meal. Rather than the traditional ham, we use more of a Romanian twist that includes raw veggies, cheeses, bread, and of course the eggs. Read about how we crack them in
this old post.

Kylen has methods for getting Greg up (in this case, so we can start the egg hunt). |

He was warned! |

Kylen had a hard time finding this egg mostly buried in a box of LEGOs. |

Time to find out what's inside! |

great pictures! Looks like you had a wonderful time. LOVED your eggs, they look so artsy...and hard to do!?!
Thank you, Katrina! But you know what? The eggs were decorated using one of those cheap kits in all the stores this time of year! All it had us do is rub a thin layer of glue all over the egg after it was dyed and then press some shiny foil paper against it. The color would come off, making it look like metallic flecks. Easy but probably my fav cheap kit ever for the stunning results. I had a hard time pulling myself away from taking pics to finish our dinner preparations. Lol! :-)
NO WAY!?!?! I would have never guessed that is how you made them. They look very difficult to make. I am not crafty, but I may be able to do those ;)
Nobody ever lets me take just a five-minute nap! :(
