Mmm... delicious! Laura got some strawberry plants this year, and we've had 3 or 4 off of them. I know they'll do better next year. They are so sweet and yummy!
Howdy, Stranger! Ours needed a few years to get going, too. We're hoping for a bumper crop from our blackberry bush in the fall. It didn't do much last year, but I think they produce every other year. :-)
I think we probably get more sun, more extremes in temp, and less rain! This is the first year we haven't planted our other beds before now. Good thing the strawberries come back on their own, otherwise all three beds would be bare! We just have not been able to make decent weather, time, and good health all coincide in the same day! Lol! I have some tomato plants on the porch waiting to be put in the ground, and I have seeds for onions, dill, carrots, and broccoli. We'll see if they actually get planted!
First and foremost, I am a child of The King. Second, I am a wife and mother. These three roles occupy the majority of my thoughts, time, and energy. Raising our son up to love Jesus in a crooked and perverse generation is quite possibly my heart’s greatest desire. How grateful I am that being a homemaker and homeschooler allows me endless opportunities to pursue other interests as well. It is the perfect outlet for creativity, and I am truly happy. I feel blessed despite my autoimmune disease struggles, and I praise God for His rich love and mercy! :-)
