January was a lovely month, because I got to relax. I didn't schedule much and didn't have anything big approaching. It was absolutely wonderful!!
Kylen's parks and rec basketball ended. They lost every game, which was disappointing, but it was the first time he and his friends had competed against strangers. Kylen thought it was a good experience overall and would have liked the season to last longer. Greg was an assistant coach and even subbed one week. We're hoping there will be enough interest to do it again next year.
Driver's ed. started and will continue throughout February. The classroom portion is three evenings a week, 2 hours and 16 minutes each evening. The extra 16 minutes shaves off one day. He'll also be driving with an instructor two hours each week, half of it spent actually driving and the other half observing another student. Greg has been taking him out every chance they get to practice. I have requested not to be in the car, as it makes me too nervous. I'm SO thankful Greg is taking care of this portion of his education!!
It's hard to believe we're halfway through 9th grade! We're staying on track for the most part. Kylen will likely finish some subjects early and be done with everything by mid-June. :)
Since losing a lot of weight on my restricted diet, I've had to replace a large portion of my wardrobe. I've bounced back and forth between loving and hating it. Sometimes it's fun to shop for clothes, but other times it's exasperating. I'm picky to begin with, then once you add sizing variations and my physical limitations . . . and my inability to drive . . . it can be pretty annoying. I've made more than my share of returns, that's for sure!
Well, not much else going on here! February promises to be another relaxing month - yay!

Oh I can relate to the driving! Michael took care of that with Samuel! :)
