This is what people at Priest Lake do to reduce the number of bees in their camp. They hang a piece of meat over a bucket of soapy water. The bees are strongly attracted to the meat, gorge themselves on it, and fall into the water. I still found myself eating on the run a couple times when an individual bee wouldn't leave me alone, but there wasn't a bunch swarming around my plate like I remember when I was a kid. It really helps!
Is it cool inside there, Dad?
